John Buttler

John Lloyd Buttler of San Antonio passed away on October 12, 2007 in Concan, TX. He was born on July 16, 1922 in Sabinal, TX to Andrew Jackson and Pearl Buttler. He is survived by a brother, Warren Buttler and wife, Neva of Canyon Lake, TX; sister, Hattie Johnson of McAllen, TX; and nieces and nephews, Tommy Bates of Freer, TX; Gary Bates of Hext, TX; Jerry Bates of Concan, TX; Les Bates of San Antonio; Marilyn Evans of Tijeras, New Mexico; Becky Meldahl of Spring Valley; Minnesota; Linda Johnson Ladd of Hudson, Wisconsin; Patty Larson of Hudson, Wisconsin; Brad Johnson of Las Vegas, NV; and Tom Johnson of Harrisonville, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Walter Buttler; and four sisters, Martha Eunice Bates; Dora Lee Wiley; Gertrude Kessler; and Ada Mae Larson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Leakey I.S.D. Gymnasium with burial to follow in Rio Frio Cemetery. Rev. Doug Smith will officiate.
