John Carson Sr.

John F. Carson Sr. of Uvalde passed away on May 21, 2008 in Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 79. He was born on November 9, 1928 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Charles and Vesta Carson. He is survived by two sons; John Carson and wife Janet of Greenville, Texas; and Roger Carson and wife, Sheila of San Antonio, Texas; one sister; Lucille Hutcherson of Uvalde, Texas; one brother Charles W. Carson Jr. of Barksdale, Texas; four grandchildren; Jonah Carson, Justin Carson, Austin Carson, and Carolyn Sue Carson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Carolyn Sue Carson. Graveside services will be on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 3:00 PM in Hillcrest Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Bill Winn, Victor John Niemeyer, Joe Hargrove, Sam Allen, James Nance, and Bill Jacob. Memorials may be made to Cancer Care Center of South Texas in Memory of John and Carolyn Sue Carson.
