John Mcgary

John Bryce Tanksley McGary of Uvalde passed away on March 20, 2017 at Houston Methodist West Hospital in Houston, Texas at the age of 43. He was born on October 1, 1973 to James McGary and Carol Tanksley in Houston, Texas.
He married Zolanyee Moreno in Uvalde on January 29, 2004. He is survived by his mother of Pensacola, Florida; his father and wife, Terry, of Houston; wife of 13 years; daughters, Yamile Moreno, Nexida B McGary and Zoly C. McGary all of Uvalde; son, John McGary, Jr. of Pensacola, Florida; sisters, Shovan Todd of Hawaii, April McGary of Arlington and Sonya Carter of Chicago; brother, Michael Young of Houston; sister in laws, Sandra Martinez, Isis Moreno and Iridian Moreno all of Uvalde; in laws, Adela and Gerardo Moreno of Uvalde; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, P.J. McGary and maternal grandmother, Beatrice Tanksley.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
