John Silva

John Phillip Silva of Uvalde passed away on March 2, 2018 in San Antonio at the age of 36. He was born on April 21, 1981 in Uvalde to Eva Silva and Ramon Rios, Sr.
He is survived by his daughter, Crista Martinez of Uvalde; son, John Silva, Jr. of Uvalde; brother, Ramon Rios, Jr. of Uvalde; grandmother, Delia Silva of Uvalde; aunts, Pauline Garcia and husband, Marco of Uvalde and Terry Rodriguez and husband, Edward of San Antonio; uncles, Tommy Silva, III and wife, Maria of Seguin and George Silva and wife, Laura of Uvalde; special friends, Angie and Mark Sandoval of Uvalde; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandfather, Tommy R. Silva
Visitation will begin on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A rosary will be held on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Silva Jr, Matthew Rios, Crystale Rodriguez, Edward Rodriguez, Tommy R. Silva IV, Mark Sandoval, George Silva, Jr., Steven Silva, Dillon Silva, Johnny Minor, Daniel Gonzales, and Zenas Munoz
