Johnnie Mae was born to Mrs. Johnnie Crawford Cain & Mr. Jake Ervin Cain on July 25, 1933. She later came to know & love her step-father, William Thomas Bull. Johnnie Mae spent most of her life in South Texas, spending much time in both Dimmit & LaSalle Counties. At the time of her passing, she was a resident of The Veranda, in Uvalde, TX.
Johnnie Mae leaves behind one son, William Thomas (Bill) Hughes and wife, Amy of Hondo, TX and one granddaughter, Tegatha Lea Hughes and husband, Levi of Pleasanton, TX.
Johnnie Mae enjoyed traveling, genealogy & crafting. More importantly, she was a believer in God and knew him to be her Lord and savior.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 17th - 10:30 am - First Baptist Church of Carrizo Springs, TX.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or American Legion 359- Clarence Mobley Post (Carrizo Springs, TX).
