Johnny Perez

Johnny Joe Perez of La Pryor passed away at University Hospital in San Antonio on May 18, 2012 at the age of 45. He was born in Crystal City on May 31, 1966 to Jesus and Esther Valdez Perez. He married Mary Ann McHazlett on September 19, 1996 in La Pryor. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, parents of La Pryor, daughter, Jacklyn Perez of La Pryor sons, Jeremy Garza of La Pryor, Johnny Perez, Jordan Perez, Aaron Perez all of Michigan sisters, Betty Perez, Isabel P. Lopez and Marissa Hodges all of La Pryor and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jesus Chito Perez. A rosary will be held on Monday May 21, 2012 and Tuesday May 22, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday May 23, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the St. Josephs Catholic Church in La Pryor. Burial will follow at La Pryor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Martin Quijano, James McHazlett, Roddy Perez, Bobby Perez, Jimmy Perez and Alberto Salazar.
