Jose Bass

Jose Alfredo Bass of Uvalde passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at his residence at the age of 64. Mr. Bass was born on March 19, 1951 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico to Alfredo and Alicia (Fregoso) Bass. He is survived by his mother Alicia Fregoso Bass of San Antonio; five daughters, Alicia Bass of San Antonio; Amanda Siebert of Charlotte, North Carolina; Brenda Suarez and Irene Margarita Bass-Pena both of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico and Nora Alicia Rodriguez of Eagle Pass; two sons, Victor Bass of Phoenix, Arizona and Pedro Bass of Dallas; six sisters, Nora Galvan, Isabel Bass, Cruz Elena Vasquez, Elvira Bass-Garcia, Patricia Rodriguez all of San Antonio and Zulema Fernandez of Houston; one brother, Jorge Bass of San Antonio and caretaker, Anita Bass of Uvalde. He was preceded in death by his father, one sister, Concepcion Arredondo and one brother, Victor Bass. Visitation for Mr. Bass will be from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm Sunday June 28, 2015. Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles.
