Jose Colon Jr.

Jose Colon Jr. of Del Rio, formerly of Uvalde passed away on March 3, 2012 at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio at the age of 52. He was born on June 23, 1959 in Morton, Texas to Jose Colon and Celia Fuentes Sotelo. He is survived by his sisters, Lydia Sotelo and Margarita Colon both of Uvalde, brothers, Clemente Sotelo Jr., Rogelio Sotelo both of Uvalde and Francisco Sotelo of Plains, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Andres Sotelo, sisters, Elvira Sotelo and Ester Sotelo. A rosary will be held on March 6, 2012 and March 7, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rudy Rodriguez, Reynaldo Rodriguez, Ramiro Rodriguez, Richard Rodriguez, Tito Sotelo and Rene Elizondo.
