Jose Cordova

Jose Francisco M. Cordova of Uvalde passed away on September 9, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 67. He was born on July 30, 1947 in Blewett, Texas to Estanislado and Maria De Jesus Martinez Cordova. He is survived by his daughter, Yolanda Cordova and husband Fred Contreras of Uvalde sisters, Maria Martinez and husband Andres, Isabel Rodriguez and Lydia Coronado and husband Armando all of Uvalde brothers, Jose Hector Cordova and companion Delia Musquiz of Uvalde and Arturo Cordova and wife Dora of Millet and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents wife, Frances Cordova and nephew, Joey Cordova. A rosary will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
