Jose Gonzales

Jose Elias Gonzales of La Pryor passed away on April 16, 2014 at his residence at the age of 69. He was born on May 13, 1944 in La Pryor to Jose D. and Soveida Perez Gonzales. He married Esther Barbosa on September 6, 1980 in La Pryor. He is survived by his wife of 33 years of La Pryor daughter, Leticia Morales of Lubbock sons, Jose Elias Gonzales Jr. of Boerne, Carlos Gonzales and wife Tiffany of Petersburg, Texas, David Gonzales and wife Viola and Elias Gonzales and his companion Reyna Cisneros all of San Antonio sisters, Maria Martinez and Alma Lara and husband Francisco all of La Pryor brothers, Armando Gonzales and wife Oralia of Saginaw, Michigan and George Gonzales and wife Benita of La Pryor 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents sisters, Manuela Ortiz and Corina Vera and brother, Arnulfo Gonzales. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. St. Josephs Catholic Church in La Pryor. Burial will be held at La Pryor Cemetery. Cremation is under the direction of RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary.
