Jose Perez

Mr. Jose Elias Perez of La Pryor, Tx. passed away June 8, 2007 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 55.

He was born June 18, 1951 in La Pryor, Tx. to Genaro Francisca Perez.

He married Irma Sal
ar in La Pryor on January 17, 1969.

He is survived by his wife, Irma Perez of La Pryor; daughters, Maria Rosario Castillo; Elizabeth Balderas husband, Jose Luis all of La Pryor; sons, Jose Elias Perez, Jr.; Javier Perez; Ricardo Perez, all of La Pryor; sisters, Maria Rubio of Uvalde; Celia Oritz ; Eva Moreno, both of La Pryor Diana Ramos of Colorado; 15 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Arturo Perez Genaro Perez, Jr.; sister, Guadalupe Casarez.

Pallbearers will be Jose Elias Perez, Jr.; Javier Perez; Ricardo Perez; Jose Luis Perez Jose Elias Perez, III. Arturo Perez, Jr., Carlos Ruiz, Gerardo Cazarez, and Esteban Mata. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Castillo; Miguel Angel Luna, David Castillo, III., Michael Perez, and Javier Perez Jr.

A rosary will be held on Friday, Saturday Sunday at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel in Uvalde.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 11:00 am at St. Josephs Catholic Church in La Pryor. Fr. Anthony Mendoza will officiate.
