Jose Francisco “Pancho” Gonzales of Uvalde passed away on September 2, 2019 at Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 64. He was born on March 21, 1955 in Uvalde to Salvador and Guadalupe (Perez) Gonzales.
He is survived by his sisters, Lupe Alvarez, Sylvia G. Schaefer and Lisa Trevino all of Uvalde; brothers, Arnulfo P. Gonzales and Armando P. Gonzales both of Uvalde; special friend, Beatrice Lara of Uvalde; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Maria Elva Garcia, brothers, Reynaldo Gonzales, Salvador Gonzales, Jr. and Jose Enrique Gonzales.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A rosary will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
