Jose Garcia

Jose Garcia of Knippa passed away on February 28, 2018 at Amistad Nursing Home in Uvalde at the age of 93. He was born on March 20, 1924 in Knippa, Texas to Paz and Alselma (Guerra) Garcia.
He is survived by his son, Jose Garcia, Jr. and wife, Alicia of Uvalde and daughter, Martha Luna of California; brother, David Garcia of San Antonio; sister, Olga Ramirez of San Antonio; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maria Juarez Garcia, son, Richard Garcia; and brothers, Pablo Garcia, and Elias Garcia.
A rosary will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
