Jose Gonzalez

Jose Alfonso Gonzalez of La Pryor passed away on December 30, 2016 at Lost Pines Nursing and Rehab Center in Bastrop at the age of 69. He was born on October 26, 1947 in La Pryor to Antonio P. Gonzalez and Regina Martinez Gonzalez. He is survived by his mother; two sisters, Maria N. Rodriguez of Austin and Alma Isabel Bonnet and husband, David of La Pryor; brother, Antonio Luis Gonzalez and wife, Denise of La Pryor; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Antonio P. Gonzalez. Jose was an usher at St. Joseph Catholic Church for many years. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in La Pryor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Antonio D. Gonzalez IV; Nestor Rodriguez III; Berardo Rodriguez; David Bonnet; Ricky Najera; and Antonio L. Gonzalez III. Honorary pallbearers will be David Hall; Ryan Rodriguez; and Jonathon Rodriguez.
