Jose Guerrero

Jose R. "Rudy" Guerrero of Uvalde passed away on July 8, 2015 in San Antonio at the age of 79. He was born on June 23, 1936 in San Antonio. Mr. Guerrero is survived by four daughters, Janet Trevino and husband Amos III of Floresville; Anna Maria Chavez and husband Arturo of Uvalde; Norma D. Flores and husband Ruben of Lubbock; Ruby L. Paden and husband Brian of Lake Worth; one brother, Inez C. Cruz of San Antonio; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Guerrero is preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Vicenta Guerrero and Ancencion Cabello. A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Amos Trevino III, Michael Chavez, Raul Flores, John Otis Cruz, Samuel Samora, and Austin Paden.
