Jose Guevara Jr.

Jose B. Guevara Jr. of Sabinal passed away on April 8, 2011 at his residence at the age of 71. He was born on March 18, 1940 in Sabinal, Tx. to Jose Inez and Juanita Borrego Guevara. He married Frances Young on March 20, 1960 in Uvalde, Tx. He is survived by his wife of 51 years daughter Lena Jo Carvalho and husband Jorge of Austin, Tx. sons Albert Guevara and wife Annette of San Angelo, Tx. Carlos Guevara and wife Lucy of Uvalde, Tx.: six grandchildren Joseph, Nicole, Kristy Guevara and Alex, Michael, Manny Carvalho two greatgrandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son, Michael Guevara parents, two sisters Guadalupe Orona and Maria Garcia brother Frank Guevara. A rosary will be held on Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel in Sabinal. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 2:00 PM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Sabinal with burial to follow in Sabinal Cemetery.
