Jose Ibarra

Jose Joe Ibarra of Uvalde passed away on February 8, 2009 in Southwest General Hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 83. He was born on April 26, 1925 in Hondo, Texas to Jose and Ventura Ybarra. He married Elva Garcia in Uvalde, Texas on April 2, 1950. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Elva Ibarra of Uvalde, Texas; three daughters; Maria V. Ibarra of Uvalde, Texas; Iza Marcrum and husband, Rick of Devine, Texas and Irene I. Loza and husband, Richard of San Antonio, Texas; one son; Joe Ibarra Jr. and wife, Maria of San Antonio, Texas; one sister; Isabel Del Toro of Hondo, Texas; four grandchildren; Candace and Justin Marcrum; Joey Ibarra III, and Julissa Ibarra. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; Gabriel and Pedro Ybarra. A rosary will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 2:30 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Marcrum, Joey Ibarra III, Albert Ybarra, Rene Del Toro, Eleazar Lee Lugo, and Willie Garcia Jr.

The Best Western Motel will be giving a discount to those desiring to stay there just mention the Jose Ibarra funeral.
