Jose Noe Martinez of Uvalde passed away on November 22, 2021, at Windermere Nursing Home in San Antonio at the age of 84. He was born on December 16, 1936, in San Ignacio, Texas to Jesus Martinez and Maria Martinez.
He married Juanita Becerra on September 11, 1960, in Petersburg, Texas
He is survived by his daughter, Monica Martinez of San Antonio; sons, Jose Noe Martinez, Jr., and wife, Mary Lou of San Antonio and Ramon Ruben Martinez and wife, Cristina of San Angelo; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife; daughter, Barbara Garza; sisters, Maria Barbara Martinez, Alicia Benavidez, Emilia De Los Santos; brothers, Refugio Martinez, Ramon Martinez and Abraham Martinez.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
