Jose Flores Medrano of Uvalde passed away on January 21, 2023 at his residence at the age of 67.
He was born on September 10, 1955, in Crystal City, Texas to Margarita (Flores) and Jose Maria Medrano.
He is survived by his five sisters, Juanita Garcia of Houston, Petra L. Rodriguez of Uvalde, Maria Sosa of Houston, Irma Garcia of Pasadena, and Elisa Salinas of Houston; brother, Enrique Medrano of Crystal City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Rogelio Flores Medrano and Javier Flores Medrano.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 1 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral Mass will held on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery in Crystal City.
