Jose Ramirez

Jose Antonio Ramirez of Sonora, Texas passed away on January 11, 2014 in San Angelo at the age of 63. He was born on November 19, 1950 to Raul and Frances Ramirez. He is survived by his daughters Michelle Ramirez, Roxanne Gonzales and her husband Juan and Laura Ramirez all of Uvalde, Christy Ramirez and husband Lupe Lopez, Jr. of San Antonio, sons Joe Ramirez of Uvalde, Christian Ramirez and Miguel Ramirez of both Houston, sisters Lucy Mauricio of Austin, Yolanda Mauricio, Anita Ramirez, Maria Esther Avina, and Maria Ellen Avina and Gracie Pierce all of Uvalde, Eva Pierce of Kansas, brothers Raul Ramirez of San Antonio and Sostenes Ramirez of New Braunfels, 14 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services were held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.
