Jose Ramos

Jose G. Ramos of Uvalde passed away at his residence in San Antonio on May 26, 2013 at the age of 64. He was born on December 12, 1948 in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico to Amadeo and Socorro Morin Ramos. He is survived by his companion, Sotera Sanchez of San Antonio, mother, Socorro Talamantez of Uvalde, daughters, Teresa Ramos and companion Juan Flores of San Antonio, Melvie Sanchez of Uvalde and Alicia Z. Ramos of Colorado sons, Oscar Sanchez , Mike Sanchez both of Uvalde and Jose G. Ramos Jr. of Colorado sister, Socorro R. Davis of San Antonio, brothers, Juan Talamantez, Antonio Talamantez both of Uvalde and Dario Talamantez of Seguin 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. A rosary will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 30. 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Juan Flores, Oscar Sanchez, Dario Talamantez, Antonio Talamantez, Antonio Talamantez Jr., Denny Trevino, Mario Juarez and Johnny Joe Garza III. Honorary pallbearer will be Robbie Talamantez.
