Jose Torres Jr.

Jose Manuel Torres Jr. of Uvalde passed away on October 30, 2017 at the age of 69 at Main Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. He was born October 22, 1948 in Uvalde, Texas to Jose Torres and Maria Flores Torres. He is survived by his wife Maria E. Perez of Uvalde; two daughters, Mary Nicholas and husband N. Anthony of San Antonio, Rosalinda Perez of Uvalde, Maricela Bass of Texas; two sisters, Vicky Torres and Ruth Rodriguez both of Pasco, Washington; brother, Moses Torres and wife, Aracely of Eagle Pass; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. A prayer service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 2nd, at 7:00 PM. Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles.
