Jose Trevino

Jose S. Trevino of La Pryor passed away on April 21, 2014 at Amistad Nursing Home in Uvalde at the age of 89. He was born on January 02, 1925 in Donna, TX to Francisco and Severa Serna Trevino, Sr. He is survived by daughters Sylvia Tenorio and husband Dimas, Juanita Castillo and husband Mario and Antonia Castro all of La Pryor, sons Patricio Granado and wife Yolanda and Martin Trevino both of La Pryor and Ramiro Trevino of Crystal City, sisters Beatrice Morales and Minerva Arispe both of Weslaco, TX., brother Francisco Trevino, Jr. of Weslaco, Texas and numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Guadalupe R. Trevino, two brothers Raul and Isreal Trevino, one sister Juanita Cortez, one daughter Ramona Castro, one son Jose Francisco Trevino. A rosary will be held on Monday and Tuesday on April 21st and 22nd at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in La Pryor at 11:00 am with burial to follow in La Pryor Cemetery.
