Juan Arredondo

Juan S. Arredondo of Uvalde passed away on December 17, 2015 at his residence at the age of 80. He was born on June 12, 1935 in Uvalde to Francisco Arredondo and Victoria Serrato Arredondo. He married Andrea Rodriguez on October 18, 1956 in Childress, TX. He is survived by his wife of 59 years; two sons, Frank Arredondo and Julian Arredondo and wife, Lucy, all of Uvalde; three daughters, Lupe Robles and husband, Fendo; Dora Martinez and husband, Joe; and Letty Salinas and husband, Tito, all of Uvalde; brothers, Antonio Arredondo and Arnulfo Arredondo, both of Uvalde; sister, Consuelo Casarez of Chicago, IL; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sons, Francisco Arredondo, Juan Arredondo, Jr., and Rodolfo Arredondo. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial following in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ruben Rodriguez, Julian Arredondo, Frank Arredondo, Alfred Robles, Jr., Alejandro Salinas, Jr., Jose Martinez, Jr., Fendo Robles, Joe Martinez, Tito Salinas, and Felipe Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers will be Raul Robles, Mathew Salinas, Eric Sandoval, Adam Salazar, Randy Hernandez, Jr., Ethan Gonzales, Derrek Johnny Alaniz, and Ricky Alaniz, Jr.
