Juan Bocanegra, Iii

Juan Bocanegra III of Uvalde passed away on February 5, 2016 at his residence at the age of 20. He was born on November 25, 1995 in Corpus Christi to Juan Bocanega, Jr. and Rita Hayes Bocanegra. He is survived by his father, Juan Bocanegra, Jr. and fiancee, Tracy Escamilla of Richwood; mother, Rita Ortiz and husband, Pete of Uvalde; maternal grandfather, Frank Davis and wife, Mary Ann of Georgewest; paternal grandmother, Maria Bocanegra of Odem, TX; brothers, Ronnie Byrd and wife, Tracy, and Jonathan Bocanegra, all of Uvalde; sisters, Ashley Espinoza and husband, Javier of Freer, and Stephanie Bocanegra of Uvalde; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Brandy Byrd; maternal grandmother, Alice Davis; and paternal grandfather, Juan Bocanegra, Sr. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
