Juan Morales

Juan C. Morales of Uvalde passed away at his residence on June 13, 2012 at the age of 84. He was born on March 8, 1928 in Uvalde to Fernando and Clarita Castillo Morales. He married Genoveva De Hoyos on September 5, 1949 in Uvalde. He is survived by his wife of 62 years daughters, Sulema Arredondo and husband Raul, Cynthia Rios and husband Xavier, Sonia Carmona and husband Frank, Annette Arce and husband Antonio S., Yvonne Ramirez and companion Enrique Canales all of Uvalde, Lucila Morales of San Antonio, Junice Kirkpatrick and husband Tommy Loest of Victoria sons, Daniel Morales and wife Mary Ann, Rev. Eduardo Morales both of San Antonio and Roberto Morales and wife Connie of Uvalde, sister, Rosa Hill and husband Marcos of Uvalde brothers, Antonio Morales and wife Dora of Cedar Park, Oscar Morales and wife Senaida of Altus, Oklahoma grandchildren, Daniel Morales, Marisa Arredondo, Rita Rose Morales, Roberto Morales, Carina Morales, Ycela Hope Esquivel, Mirna Carmona, Anissa Arce, Antonio S. Arce III, Stephanie Avila, Jessica Ramirez, Michael Contreras, Michaela Contreras, Matthew Contreras, Brooke Kirkpatrick, Taylor Kirkpartick and Hannah Loest great grandchildren, Brandon Gutierrez, Roberto Morales III, Alejandro Jai Morales, Steven Colton Rue and Maddox Isaiah Ruiz. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Michelle Contreras and grandson, Xavier Jai Rios PFC USMC. A rosary will be held on Thursday June 14, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral mass will be held on Friday June 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Contreras, Matthew Contreras, Daniel Morales, Antonio S. Arce III, SGT, Roberto Morales Jr. USMC and Aldo Avila. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Sacred Heart School, 408 Fort Clark, Uvalde, Texas 78801.
