Juan Ibarra, Jr.

Juan Francisco Ibarra, Jr. of Uvalde passed away on August 1, 2016 at University Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 33. He was born on March 30, 1983 in Uvalde to Juan Ibarra and Nora Rios He married Jan Alejandro on April 21, 2001 in Uvalde. He is survived by his wife of 15 years of Uvalde; father, Juan Ibarra of Uvalde; mother, Nora Longoria of San Antonio; paternal grandparents, Jose Maria and Guadalupe Ibarra; sons, Joseph Ibarra, Jacob Ibarra and Joshua Ibarra; sister, Jackie Ibarra; brother, Julian Ibarra all of Uvalde, and Jaime Ibarra of San Antonio; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jesus and Maria Rios.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, August 04, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Amador Hernandez, Alfred Alejandro Jr., Julian Ibarra, Jaime Ibarra, Carmelo Ibarra, Adam Olvedo, Javier Ibarra and Jose Olvedo.
