Juan Perez

Juan A. Perez of Uvalde passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021 in Uvalde, Texas at Health Care and Rehab at the age of 67.

He was born on March 21, 1954 in Gause, Texas to Rebecca (Aguilar) and Juan M. Perez

Juan married Gloria Banda on September 4, 1980 in Uvalde, Texas

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gloria Perez of Uvalde; daughter, Debora Ann Perez of Uvalde; sons, Johnny Lee Perez and wife Amanda of Altus, Oklahoma, and Jonathan M. Perez and wife Inez of Del Rio, Texas; three sisters, Helen Delgado and husband Raul of Post, Texas, Beatrice Perez of Post, Texas, and Alicia Briseno and husband Michael of Post, Texas; five brothers, Gilbert Perez and wife Marilyn of Post, Texas, Paul Perez and wife Carla of Post, Texas, Manuel Perez, Guadalupe Perez and wife Katrina of Post, Texas, Ramon Perez and wife Marcy of Post, Texas; five grandchildren, Destiny M. Garcia, Desirae M. Garcia, Danielle M. Garcia, Jaelynn M. Perez, and Jonathan M. Perez, Jr. all of Uvalde; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Juan is preceded in death by his parents, Rebecca and Juan M. Perez; mother-in-law, Eva G. Cano; brother, Jose Perez; maternal grandparents, Manuel Aguilar and Francisco A. Aguilar; and paternal grandparents, Guadalupe Perez and Maria Perez.

Gentleman serving as pallbearers will be Pablo Perez, Zachary Sanchez, Lorenzo Soto, Allen Perez, Ricky Vergara, and Jacob Perez.

Honorary pallbearer is Rosario Perez Jr.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
