Juan Puentes

Juan Jose Puentes of Sabinal passed away at his residence on April 8, 2012 at the age of 50. He was born on May 18, 1961 in Sinton, Texas to Pablo and Juanita Martinez Puentes Sr. He is survived by his mother, sons, Edward Reyes and Johnny Puentes Jr. both of San Antonio, sisters, Yolanda Muniz, Frances Haro, Sandra Gonzales all of Gilroy, California, Sylvia Salings of San Antonio, Elia Aviles and Rosalinda Puentes both of Sabinal brothers, Robert Puentes of Hondo, Jerry Gonzales of Sacramento California, Jesse Gonzales, Gilbert Gonzales, Omar Gonzales, Nicolas Gonzales all of Gilroy California, 4 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Pablo Puentes Jr. A rosary will be held on Tuesday April 10, 2012 and Wednesday April 11, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel in Sabinal. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday April 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Sabinal. Burial will follow at St. Patricks Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edward Reyes, Johnny Puentes Jr., Pablo Puentes, Juan Aviles Jr., Gilbert Torres Sr. and Federico Aviles.
