Juan Rodriguez, Sr

Juan D. Rodriguez, Sr of Uvalde passed away on September 4, 2015 at Vitas Hospice in San Antonio, at the age 57. He was born on June 22, 1958 in Morelos, Coahuila, Mexico to Ezequiel and Olga (Zuniga) Rodriguez. He married Alma De Leon in Mexico, January 28, 1978. He is survived by his wife; mother, Olga Z. Rodriguez of Mexico; daughters, Arely Rodriguez and companion Miguel Zamora and Olga L. Rodriguez all of Uvalde; sons, Heriberto Rodriguez and wife Azenette and Juan Rodriguez, Jr. and wife Sara all of Uvalde; brothers, Ezequiel Rodriguez of Mexico, Miguel A. Rodriguez of Eagle Pass and Pedro A. Rodriguez of Fredricksburg; sisters, Nersedalia Perez, Blanca E. Medina, Olga N. Ramirez and Paula M. Hernandez all of Mexico; Four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ezequiel Rodriguez. A rosary will be held Sunday, September 6, 2015 and Monday, September 7, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ezequiel Rodriguez, Humberto De Leon, Martin De Leon, Romulo Zamora, Rogelio Vega and Jesus Hernandez. Honorary pallbearers will be Juan Rodriguez, III and Heriberto Rodriguez, Jr.
