Juan Terrazas

Juan Ernesto "J.E.T." Terrazas of Uvalde passed away at his residence on August 18, 2016 at the age of 68. He was born on December 14, 1947 in Del Rio to Juan H. and Guadalupe (Sandoval) Terrazas. He married Guillermina "Mine" Barrera in Del Rio. He is survived by his wife of Uvalde; daughters, Joanne Fernandez, Laura T. Chandler and husband Michael all of Washington and Nereyda Terrazas of Uvalde; sons, Roberto Terrazas and wife Manuela of Washington, Daniel Terrazas and wife Cheryl of College Station, Jaime E. Terrazas and wife Candace and Ventura G. Terrazas and wife Brianna all of Uvalde; 15 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister in law, Dora Terrazas of Uvalde; brother in law, Jesse Camacho of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Amanda Camacho; and brother, Jose Rojelio Terrazas.
A rosary will be held on Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Este-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Pallbearers will be June Campos, Donnie Terrazas, Joe Roy Terrazas, John Terrazas, Jesus Morin and Ramon Barrera.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Sacred Heart Catholic School, 401 W. Leona, Uvalde, Texas 78801.
