Juan Uriegas

Juan Uriegas of Uvalde passed away on April 29, 2018 in Uvalde Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 92. He was born on November 14, 1925 in Knippa to Victoriano Uriegas and Guadalupe (Sanchez) Uriegas. He is survived by his niece, Stella Lombrana; cousin, Frances Moreno; and best friend, Paul Martinez, all of Uvalde. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maria Uriegas; sister, Ramona Hernandez; brother, Julian Uriegas; and aunt, Luisa Ramos. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary followed by burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pastor Manuel Trevino will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jordan Rodriguez; Scott Rodriguez; Jesse Romo; and Jared Romo.
