Juana B. Aguero of La Pryor passed away on August 17, 2015 at Sister Mary Hospice Center in San Antonio at the age of 67. She was born on October 21, 1947 in Cloete, Coahuila, Mexico to Meliton Barrera and Ofelia Zapata. She is survived by her sons, Eduardo Aguero and Ricardo Aguero both of La Pryor; sisters, Diana B. Tarin and Hilda B. Lopez both of Mexico; brothers, Armando Barrera of La Pryor, Adrian Barrera and Balde Barrera both of Mexico, and Roland Barrera of Rockdale; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Aguero; brother, Ricardo Barrera and sisters, Blanca Margarita Barrera Zapata. A rosary will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held Friday, August 21, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at La Pryor Cemetery.
