Juanita Vasquez

Juanita B. Vasquez of Uvalde passed away on March 24, 2010 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 56. She was born on December 26, 1953 in Uvalde, Texas to Alejandro and Teresa Maldonado Barrios. She is survived by her mother Teresa D. Maldonado of La Pryor, Texas seven daughters Jennifer Zamora and husband, Pete Marie Vasquez and husband, Joe Almaraz Christina Castro and husband, Ramon Jr. and Amelia Luz Vasquez all of Uvalde, Texas Evangelina Vasquez Noemi Vasquez and Pilar Vasquez all of San Antonio, Texas two sons Ricardo Alejandro Vasquez of Austin, Texas and Joel Vasquez of San Antonio, Texas three sisters Veronica Hinojosa Maribel Obregon both of Uvalde, Texas and Josephina Morales of La Pryor, Texas two brothers Arnoldo Barrios of La Pryor, Texas and Alberto Barrios of Uvalde, Texas eleven grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and granddaughter Angelina Joeleen Vasquez. A rosary will be held on Thursday and Friday at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
