Juanita Vasquez

Juanita G. Vasquez of Sabinal passed away on May 25, 2008 at her residence at the age of 76. She was born on Oct. 20, 1931 in Uvalde, Texas to Abran and Eugenia Gomez. She married Raul Vasquez on Sept. 13, 1957 in Sabinal, Texas. She is survived by her husband of fifty years Raul Vasquez of Sabinal; three daughters; Maria Gonzales Lopez and husband Jesse of Sabinal, Tx.; Rosie Salinas and husband Jesse of Sabinal, Tx.; and Josie Negrete and husband Oscar Mendoza of Sabinal, Tx.; two sons; Fernando Vasquez of Sabinal, Tx.; and Raul Vasquez Jr. of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Vasquez is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters. A rosary will be held on Monday, May 26, 2008 at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel in Sabinal. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Sabinal with burial to follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery.
