Juanita Lopez

Mrs. Juanita Lopez, age 72, formally of Sabinal passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017 in San Antonio. She was born on September 23, 1944 in Sabinal to Arcardio and Andrea (Martinez) Gomez. She married Alfredo Lopez on August 16, 1959 in Juno, Wisconsin. Mrs. Lopez was a big Spurs fan and love going to gambling.
Mrs. Lopez is survived by her husband of 57 years; two sons, Alfredo Lopez Jr. and Joe Rene Lopez and wife Isabel of San Antonio; sister, Andrea Sanchez of Uvalde; four brothers, Mario Gomez of Sabinal, Monseis Gomez of San Antonio, Thomas Gomez and Arcardio Gomez Jr. both of Wisconsin; thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lopez was preceded in death by her daughter Eleanor Lopez Alvarado, parents, two sisters, Lupe Lopez and Camila Espinoza.
A rosary will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Sabinal. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Sabinal with interment to follow at Sabinal Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joe Lopez, Victor Joe Alvarado, Robert Hernandez, Corina Hernandez, Christina Lopez and Alfredo Lopez III>
