Juanita Martinez

Juanita B. Martinez of San Antonio, formerly of Uvalde passed away on April 18, 2021 at Windermere Nursing Home in San Antonio at the age of 78. She was born on August 26, 1942 in Brownsville, Texas to Jorge Becerra and Victoria Ramos.

She married Jose Noe Martinez on September 11, 1960 in Petersburg, Texas.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years of San Antonio; daughter, Monica Elena Martinez of San Antonio; sons, Jose Noe Martinez, Jr. and wife, Mary Lou of San Antonio and Ramon Ruben Martinez and wife, Cristina of San Angelo; brothers, Jose Ramos and Martin Cruz both of Midland, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Barbara Garza; sister, Eva Riojas, Irene Zavala and brother, Jorge Becerra, Jr.

Visitation will begin on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Martinez, John Paul Martinez, Jacob Martinez, Julian Martinez, Mark Garza, Jacob Garza. Honorary pallbearer will be Immanuel A Martinez.
