Juanita Perry

Juanita Rodriguez Perry of Uvalde passed away on October 4, 2013 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 96. She was born on June 23, 1917 in Uvalde to Esteban and Nabora Montoya Rodriguez. She is survived by her daughter, Olga McCaslin and husband Dennis of McMinnville, Oregon sons, Victor Perry and wife Guadalupe of Eagle Pass, Ellis Perry and wife Chris of Boise, Idaho sister, Isabel Castillo of Uvalde brother, Ernesto Rodriguez of Chicago, Illinois 6 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband,Hines Perry son, Hines Perry Jr. sisters, Bertha Lopez, Florencia Trevino, Catarina Herrera, Aurelia Mansanarez and brothers, Pablo Rodriguez, Rosalio Rodriguez and Cruz Rodriguez. A vigil service will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kelly McCaslin, Alex Castillo, David Suarez, Ernesto Rodriguez, Roy Rodriguez, Victor Perry, Jr. and Reynaldo Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers will be Hines Perry III and Michelle Helms.
