Juanita Sotelo

Juanita P. Sotelo of Uvalde passed away on September 21, 2009 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 80. She was born on March 18, 1929 in Saspanco, Texas to Juan and Juanita Perez. She married Rojelio A. Sotelo on April 6, 1947 in Uvalde, Texas. She is survived by four daughter; Estella Rendon; Noelia Salinas and husband, Salvador; Maricela Cruz; and Nelida Sotelo all of Uvalde, Texas; two sons; Roy Sotelo Jr., and wife, Anita; and Claudio Sotelo all of Uvalde, Texas; one brother; Pablo Perez of San Antonio, Texas; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Rojelio A. Sotelo. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Castillo, Roy Sotelo III, John Gabriel Martinez, Derek Gonzales, Zachary Rendon, and Joe Roger Martinez.
