Juan Jose Cedillo

Juan Jose Padilla Cedillo of Uvalde, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Texas Vista Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 67.  He was born on October 24, 1954 in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico to Margarito Padilla and Rosalva Cedillo.

He married Guadalupe Ramirez on July 24, 1976, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years of Uvalde, Texas; sons, Juan Gabriel Padilla and wife, Abigail and Nestor Olager Padilla and wife, Stephanie all of Uvalde; Texas; sisters, Bertha Alicia Padilla, Bertha Alicia Melendez and Herminia Margarita Padilla all of San Antonio; and Oralia Padilla of Monclova, Mexico; brother, Manuel Padilla of Monclova, Mexico; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Federico Padilla, Eleazar Padilla, 3 sisters, Dora Estella Padilla, Maria Manuela Padilla, and Rosa Elia Padilla.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
