Judith Routh

Judith “Judy” Darel Routh of Uvalde went home to her Lord and Savior on March 28, 2021 at age of 88.   She was born on August 20, 1932 in Crockett, Texas to Frank Preston Graham and Georgia Bell Crofford.

She married the love of her life, Winn Harvel Routh on June 1, 1950 in Uvalde.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years of Uvalde; son, Larry Winn Routh and wife, Dana of San Angelo; daughters, Starlynne Marshall and husband, Gene of Nebraska and Cathryn DeRusha and husband, Bobby of Uvalde; sister, Genese Wachter of San Antonio; 4 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and 4 nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, loving step-dad, George Taylor, brother in law, Charles Wachter Jr. nephew, Charles Wachter III, and granddaughter, Shelly Routh Monette.

Mom loved the Lord with all her heart and soul.  She faithfully read her bible each morning and prayed for her family and anyone in need.  We know that the Lord will say of her life here on earth “well done, good and faithful servant.”

A family funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Due to the covid-19 pandemic face mask are requested.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Marshall, Bobby DeRusha, Tim Wachter, and Tyler Pickinpaugh.

Pallbearers will be Larry Winn Routh Jr., Jason Hutcherson, Shannon Pickinpaugh, Justin Rector, Mike Routh, and Landon Routh.
