Judith Ann Turner, of Uvalde passed away on March 3, 2017 at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Uvalde at the age of 74. She was born on August 17, 1942 in East Hampton, Massachusetts, to Norbert David and Elizabeth (Laducier) Benham. She married George Oso "Buddy" Turner on June 23, 1962 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico.
She is survived by her son, Glen Turner and wife, Angela Gail; daughter and best friend, Anna Janine Turner and husband, Jerry Gonzales; all of Uvalde; grandchildren, Deanna Turner, Cheyanne Turner, Jessica Turner, Aubree Peyton Turner, Jordan Danielle Turner, Quinton Mathis, and Madelyn Audrey Turner; sisters in law, Amy Turner and her family, Ruby Ann Turner Andrews and her family, and Doris "Dotie" Turner Parsons and her family; numerous nieces and nephews from both sides of the family; and lastly, her church family, at First United Methodist Church in Uvalde. She loved her church family just like her own family, and the feeling was mutual. Ms. Joy Jechow, Hannah Jechow, Jeanine Haughey and husband, Al, Mac McDaniel and his lovely wife, Betty and all the wonderful people at First United Methodist Church, thank you for loving our mother.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband; parents; brothers, David Norbert Benham and Ralph Benham; her first grandchild, Christian Wade Turner; and other family members, including, brothers in law and sisters in law.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church.
