Julia Hernandez

Julia G. Hernandez of Uvalde passed away on February 16, 2008 in Bethany Hospice in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 95. She was born on November 7, 1912 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Balvumero and Dolores Gonzalez. She is survived by daughters; Josefina Medina and husband, Nieves of San Antonio, Texas; Dolores Valencia and husband, George of Fullerton, California; and Elva Alvarado of Yuma, Arizona; sons; Alfredo G. Hernandez and wife, Dora of Uvalde; Eleazar G. Hernandez and wife, Maria; Efrain G. Hernandez and wife, Adelina all of San Antonio, Texas; Benny G. Hernandez and wife, Dora; and Jesus G. Hernandez Jr. all of Modesto, California; 65 grandchildren; Numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; Numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Hernandez; Daughter; Edna Gomez; and son; Joe El Cabazon Hernandez. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 7:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery
