Julia Vasquez

Julia A. Vasquez of Uvalde passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in Uvalde at the age of 51. Julia was born on December 26, 1966 in Campeche, Mexico to Manuel Acuna Velasquez and Obdulia Flores Lozano. She married Robert T. Vasquez on May 27, 1989 in Uvalde. Julia is survived by three daughters, Mayra Vasquez, Sabrina Vasquez and Samantha Vasquez all of Uvalde; son, Robert A. Vasquez Jr. of Uvalde; mother, Obdulia Flores Lozano of Guadalajara, Mexico; three grandchildren; four sisters, Noemi Acuna Flores of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, Eva Acuna Flores of Wisconsin, Lady Acuna Flores of Chicago, Ill and Erendira Acuna Flores of Guadalajara, Mexico; two brothers, Manuel Acuna Flores and Javier Acuna Flores both of Guadalajara, Mexico. Julia was preceded in death by her husband Robert T. Vasquez and her father, Manuel Acuna Velasquez.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 and Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Munoz, Larry Munoz, Tony Schell, Johnny Trevino, Jose Martinez and Manuel Acuna Flores.
