Julian Lopez

Julian F. Lopez of Uvalde passed away on April 13, 2015 at Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 89. He was born on June 5, 1925 in Uvalde to Julian H. and Anita (Flores) Lopez. He is survived by sisters; Modesta L. Valenzuela and Santos L. Villarreal of Uvalde; Four grandchildren and Three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Oscar T. Lopez. A rosary will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 and Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Uvalde Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Clark, Joshua Esparza, Oscar Valenzuela, Claudio Valenzuela, Oscar Lopez, Jr. and Hector Hernandez.
