Julian Ramirez

Julian Ramirez of Uvalde passed away on October 16, 2010 in Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 86. He was born on February 16, 1924 in DHanis, Texas to Antero and Juanita Ramirez. He married Camila De La Cruz on November 29, 1969 in Sabinal, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Camila Ramirez of Uvalde, Texas four daughters Isabel Sandoval and Frances R. Perez both of Sabinal, Texas Eulogia Najera and husband, Jesse M. of Uvalde, Texas and Elsa Castro and husband, Jason of San Antonio, Texas one son Gustavo Ramirez and wife, Lynda of Teague, Texas three sisters Guadalupe Contreras of Amarillo, Texas Eloisa Muniz of DHanis, Texas and Angela Ramirez of San Antonio, Texas one brother Ramiro Ramirez of San Antonio, Texas twelve grandchildren fifteen great grandchildren six great great grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents first wife Josefa Gomez Ramirez and brother Francisco Ramirez. A rosary will be held on Monday at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jesse Najera Jr., Justin Sandoval, Raymond R. Perez III, R.J. Sandoval, Kevin Bales, and Marco Sandoval.
