Julio Santos

Julio Cesar Santos of Uvalde passed away on October 9, 2016 at North Central Baptist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 49. He was born on March 1, 1967 in Melchor, Musquiz, Mexico to Juan Manuel and Maria Anita (Palomares) Santos. He married Lorena Lara in Uvalde on June 25, 2005.
He is survived by his wife of 11 years of Uvalde; parents; daughter, Jennifer Martinez of San Antonio; sons, Jesus Arturo Martinez, Robert Martinez and Julio Cesar Santos, Jr. all of Uvalde; sister, Juana Elida Medina of Uvalde; brothers, Arnulfo Santos of San Antonio, Victor Manuel Santos, Oscar Santos, Javier Santos, Enrique Santos all of Uvalde; grandchildren, Mia Martinez and Alice Martinez and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Javier Antonio Hernandez and mother in law, Cruzita Rodriguez.
A rosary will be held on Monday and Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Pallbearers will be Jesus Arturo Martinez, Robert Martinez, Julio Cesar Santos, Jr., Jennifer Martinez, Juan Manuel Santos, Oscar Jacobo Santos, Maritza Hernandez, Arnulfo Santos, Victor Manuel Santos, Oscar Santos, Javier Santos and Enrique Santos.
