Kenneth Dale Sorrells

 

Kenneth Dale Sorrells III of Knippa passed away May 22, 2023, at his residence at the age of 26.

He was born on September 13, 1996, in Uvalde to Lisa Lutz and Kenneth Dale Sorrells, Jr.

He is survived by his mother of Knippa; his father of Boerne, maternal grandmother, Mary Gilbertson and husband, Gary of Uvalde; maternal grandfather, Charles Connell of Uvalde; two sisters, Tamra Martinez and husband, David Jr. of Hondo, and Jessica Rene Sorrells of Devine; brother, Ricky Scott White of Bend, Oregon; three nephews, Nathan Martinez, Bently Sorrells, Jaxon Martinez, two nieces, Zadie Martinez and Kailee Martinez.

He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Maxine Sorrells and maternal great grandmother, Little Granny Reed.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  Interment will follow at the Knippa Cemetery, in Knippa, Tx.

 

Pallbearers will be Danuel Piles, Seth Parry, George Ruiz, Mac Withrow, Clay Sorrells, Matthew Sorrells, Matthew Dunn and Isaac Bustamante.
