Laban Leon

Laban Lopez De Leon of Yancey, Texas passed away September 3, 2013 at Main Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on August 29, 1954 in Fresno, California to Reynaldo and Martina Valenzuela Lopez. She married Manuel De Leon in Yancey on September 1995. She is survived by her husband of 17 years of Yancey, daughters Mavis Valdez and husband Mark of Austin, Denise Prado of Uvalde Deanne Lee and husband Adam of Corsicana stepchildren Mary Hernandez and husband Steven of Houston, Rita Williams and husband Victor of Oklahoma, Margie Bell of San Antonio, Inez Schmidt of Yancey, Tony De Leon and wife Maryland of Tyler, Aley De Leon and wife Irene of Yancey, and Manuel De Leon Jr and wife Yvonne of El Paso, sisters Abigail Flores and husband Ruben, Annette Mendeke and husband Charles all of Uvalde, grandchildren Sklyar Valdez, Sebastian Valdez and Sabriel Valdez, Christopher Prado, Austin Lee and Vivianne Lee, greatgrandchild Dalila Gilmer and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial following in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ruben Flores, Jr., Aldo Ray Flores, Sr., John Arredondo, Charles Bernel Mendeke, Mark Valdez, Adam Lee, Christopher Prado and Sebastian Valdez.
