Larry Burgin

Larry Burgin of Concan passed away on October 1, 2015 at Medina Community Hospital in Hondo at the age of 68. He was born on April 27, 1947 in Gladewater, TX to Cleve Burgin and Berthal Mae Robertson Burgin. He married Helen Buchanan in Concan on June 2, 1970. He is survived by his wife of 45 years; daughter, Shannah Andersen and husband, Michael of Colleyville, TX; son, Shane Burgin and wife, April of Concan; grandchildren, Anna Mae Andersen, Blake Michael Andersen, Addison Riley Burgin, and Grant Aubrey Burgin; brother, Jim Burgin and wife, Tina of Dallas; sister-in-law, Sidney Burgin of Sulphur Springs, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Aubrey and Bobby Burgin. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 4:00 PM in the Buchanan front yard in Concan. Summer attire is recommended.
